With a new narrow transport front-fold frame design, 30” row spacing, and a choice of 12, 16, or 24 rows, the Kinze 4900 planter offers many significant new features that contribute to productivity and precision during the planting season. Features include a new, front folding tool bar, a state-of-the-art vacuum meter with optional electric drive and a cast iron row unit with more vertical travel. The new patent-pending seed meter offers 99%+ accuracy at speeds from 2 to 8 mph. Electric drive means there are no chains, clutches, gearboxes or shafts to maintain. The Kinze 4900 series planters will be available for orders in May 2013 for use during the 2014 planting season.

GatorTrak on RoGatorGatorTrak/RoGator | AGCO

GatorTrak, AGCO’s 4-wheel steering system for RoGator, is an optional feature available exclusively on RoGator. GatorTrak greatly improves in-field maneuverability while reducing soil disturbance and crop damage. With GatorTrak four-wheel steer activated, the rear axle automatically adjusts to the front axle for coordinated steering, leaving two tracks through the end rows as opposed to four tracks with a conventional two-wheel steer machine. The tight, 16-foot turning radius also greatly improves maneuverability. AGCO Application Equipment has experienced growing demand for this innovative system as farmers seek technologies to reduce crop damage and maximize their bottom line to take advantage of higher crop prices.

Case IH Patriot 2240Patriot 2240 | Case IH

The Patriot 2240 sprayer — a Class 2, self-propelled sprayer — is smaller, lighter and offers a narrower track spacing than its larger family members. The Patriot 2240 sprayer also shares some of the same feature as the Patriot 3230, 3330 and 4430 self-propelled sprayers. For instance, it keeps the cab-forward, rear-engine configuration to ensure optimum weight distribution to minimize compaction or rutting potential. The trailing-link suspension offers a superb ride and the three-speed hydrostatic transmission provides smooth, reliable shifting and efficient transfer of engine power to the ground. The Patriot 2240 offers big sprayer features like optional automatic boom section control, automatic boom height control, AFS AccuGuide autoguidance and the exclusive AIM Command spray system.

System 350, Topcon Positioning SystemsAGI-4 Receiver/Steering Controller | Topcon

The AGI-4 is the industry’s first completely integrated steering solution that can simply and easily interface with many manufacturer’s “virtual terminals” (ISO11783). Features include multiple-constellation GNSS satellite reception, state-of-the-art inertial sensors, and full-terain compensation with superior line acquisition and holding capabililities. An all-in-one, modular design includes antenna, receiver, and steering controller in a single component offering upgradeability. The unit is standard with WAAS and EGNOS, and is easily upgradeable to 2cm accuracy with RTK radio options. NTRIP capability allows you to tap into existing reference networks via mobile phone connection (dependent on local availability) and uses existing data plans and infrastructure to minimize costs.
