GROWMARK to Acquire St. Louis-Based Chemical Manufacturer AgraForm

GROWMARK has announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire AgraForm, LLC, a leading agrichemical manufacturing company located in St. Louis, MO. Terms of the deal, expected to close at the end of June, were not disclosed. AgraForm provides high-quality bulk formulation, agrochemical processing, spray drying, milling, packaging, and storage services for chemical manufacturers. The facility produces and packages insecticides, fungicides, and biological products for agricultural use.

GROWMARK Chief Operating Officer Wade Mittelstadt says the purchase aligns with GROWMARK’s strategic priorities. “This purchase enables us to grow efficiently in these product lines while providing the opportunity to produce proprietary product offerings in the future,” he said. “We can also strengthen our relationships with key suppliers who currently utilize AgraForm’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.” He continued to say “AgraForm employs a talented team and is a very well-run operation with strong commitments to safety, environmental responsibility, and customer service. GROWMARK is pleased to be part of continuing their legacy of success.”

AgraForm currently operates two properties in St. Louis, one for manufacturing and one for dry storage. As demand for fungicides, insecticides, biologicals, and generic products continues to grow across the GROWMARK geographical footprint, this acquisition will allow GROWMARK to influence another critical point in the ag value chain and grow its market share.
