2024 MAGIE Show: The Place for Advancement in Ag Technology
Advances in technology occur at a rapid pace, no more so than in the ag industry. Staying informed on what these technologies can offer to increase your efficiency and profitability is challenging, but that is why we have MAGIE (Midwest Ag-Industries Exposition)! It’s the place you need to be to see, study and evaluate how new advances in the equipment, operations, crop protection and fertility sectors can help your business prosper.
The ag input supply and service sector is uniquely positioned to provide solutions to the challenges we face in agriculture, and there are many: Weather, water and air quality, logistics, safety, and the biggest challenge of all: Keeping your customers satisfied and profitable. The goal of the MAGIE show is to bring together suppliers and experts to present unique and innovative technologies to keep you informed and enable you to succeed as the experts and problem solvers for your farmer-customers.
Again, this year, the Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association (IFCA) will present the “Custom Applicator of the Year Award” at the tailgate party on Wednesday afternoon. Custom applicators spend endless hours in the field every year applying fertilizer and pesticides on thousands of acres. IFCA is pleased to announce a showcase award to honor and recognize those individuals who work hard in and out of the field and put forth a positive attitude in caring not only for the crops, but also for their customers. IFCA feels there are outstanding custom applicators who deserve a “thank you” from all of those involved in the agriculture industry. This year’s finalists are Doug Berbaum with United Prairie, Paul Babler with Pearl City Elevator, Michael Mriscin with M&M Service Co., and Marty Corbin with Carroll Service Co.
On behalf of the leadership and staff at IFCA and in conjunction with our media partner CropLife IRON, thank you for participating in MAGIE! We look forward to seeing everyone August 21-22 at the McLean County Fairgrounds for this year’s show.
