Illinois Custom Applicator of the Year: Meet the Four Finalists for the 2024 Award

In the state of Illinois, custom applicators spend endless hours in the field every year applying fertilizer and chemicals on thousands of acres. The Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association (IFCA) is pleased to announce the four finalists of the Custom Applicator of the Year Award. The award honors and recognizes individuals who work hard in and out of the fields and put forth a positive attitude in caring not only for the crops but also the customers.

“IFCA feels there are many outstanding custom applicators who deserve a ‘thank you’ from all of those involved in the agriculture industry,” says Kevin “K.J.” Johnson, IFCA President. “This year’s finalists are Doug Berbaum with United Prairie, Paul Babler with Pearl City Elevator, Michael Mriscin with M&M Service Co., and Marty Corbin with Carroll Service Co.”
