17 Spray Nozzles For 2015
Reduction in drift. Extremely coarse droplets. Uniform coverage. Ideal for pre- and post-application. These are just some of the words that describe this year’s collection of spray nozzles on the market. View our slideshow above to see a number of different nozzle types (e.g., straight stream, air induced flat fan, twin flat spray) from the following companies: CP Products, Greenleaf Technologies, Hypro, Lechler Inc., TeeJet Technologies and Wilger.

Combo-Jet SR110-04 | Wilger
The COMBO-JET SR Series drift reduction tip is a pre orifice enclosed turbulence chamber flat fan tip that produces even spray patterns. Flow rates range from 0.05 to 5.0 gpm, and spray angles reach 80° and 110° — with other angles possible. Made of polypropylene with a stainless steel insert, the tip offers a 30% to 50% reduction in drift compared to extended range flat fan tips. MORE INFO >>

Turbo TwinJet (TTJ60) | TeeJet Technologies
The TTJ60 produces mostly medium to coarse droplets for improved coverage and canopy penetration making it ideal for fungicide and contact herbicide applications. New -08 and -10 sizes are ideal for higher rates and higher ground speeds. This non-air induction tip is also ideal for use with pulse width modulation (PWM) sprayer controls. MORE INFO >>

Turbo TeeJet Induction (TTI) | TeeJet Technologies
The TTI produces extremely coarse and ultra coarse droplets for maximum drift control, especially when working in drift sensitive areas or drift prone conditions. It is ideal for spraying systemic products like glyphosate and dicamba. The 15-100 psi operating pressure supports a wide range of ground speeds. MORE INFO >>

FD and PRE Liquid Fertilizer Nozzle | Lechler
Lechler’s FD and PRE liquid fertilizer nozzles are flat spray nozzles with horizontal jet formation. They provide even cross-distribution at all pressures and boom heights and create Extremely Coarse droplets. They have a Bayonet style connection, one piece style design and are rated for up to 95% drift reduction by European testing authorities. MORE INFO >>

IDKT Twin Air Induction Flat Spray Nozzles | Lechler
The IDKT Twin Air Induction Flat Spray Nozzles produce a twin pattern for exceptional canopy and plant coverage, says Lechler. They will form a full pattern at low pressure and yield a very low drift potential up to 50 PSI. The nozzles have been rated for up to 90% drift reduction by European testing authorities. They feature a compact, durable design and an easy-to-clean removable injector. MORE INFO >>
