Five Star Cooperative to Acquire A&K Feed & Grain

Five Star Cooperative has announced that it has entered into an agreement in principle to acquire A&K Feed & Grain, a respected agricultural provider located in Lime Springs, IA. The acquisition, set to close this fall, marks a significant step forward in Five Star’s mission to expand its service area and enhance its offerings to the farming community across North Iowa and Southern Minnesota.

Since 1947, A&K Feed & Grain has built a strong reputation for excellence in fertilizer, crop protection, seed sales, and grain buying. By bringing A&K’s well-established operations and experienced team into the Five Star territory, this acquisition will further solidify Five Star Cooperative’s position as a leading agricultural provider in the region.

Five Star will be welcoming the A&K team currently serving their customers under the Five Star banner along with the existing agronomy facilities and grain assets in Lime Springs about 25 miles north of New Hampton.
