Merschman Seeds is an independent, family-owned seed company located in West Point, IA. Since its inception in 1954, Merschman Seeds has prided itself on offering superior seed products, coupled with world-class customer service. The company also operates a fertilizer division boasting the same stellar reputation in the industry.

When Merschman’s fertilizer division was looking to expand its facility in Burlington, IA, the goal was to find a supplier that offered not only top-performing, long-lasting equipment, but also a level of service that matched the company’s own high standards for dealing with customers. The partner they chose was AGI.

WHAT WE DESIGNED

Traditionally, equipment is designed around building specifications — but for this assignment, the experts at AGI quickly determined that such an approach would limit their ability to deliver on project objectives. To ensure there were no compromises, the team first planned and developed the equipment needed for the project, and then constructed a building to properly accommodate this custom- designed equipment.
