Harxon Positioning Solution Breaks High-precision Barrier
As world’s leading brand of GNSS positioning antenna solution provider, Harxon has high precision positioning antenna solutions for various agricultural applications, such as UAVs, field robots and autonomous tractors.
For UAVs
Limited to size and weight, traditional helix antennas are difficult to be integrated with the UAV body. Electromagnetic interference and complex environments also put more requirements on antennas. Harxon provides a series of GNSS antennas with low weight, small size and low power.
Harxon helix antenna series adopts patented D-QHA technology for stable performance of wide-angle circular polarization, which ensures exceptional low elevation satellite tracking while maintaining high gain and providing reliable signal tracking. This consistent performance is ideal option for challenging environments. The single, dual, triple and full band GNSS versions of these products can achieve millimeter-level positioning, ideal for sowing, irrigation and monitoring UAVs.
For Field Robots
Weed control is one of the most common applications for agricultural robots. Large-scale spraying of herbicides in a constant rate approach is currently the dominant model. The area of the field often determines the rate of spraying, and therefore agrochemicals are often over-applied. A precision agriculture approach can help overcome these challenges. Also, there’re some unmanned ground vehicles for tree crop farming tasks adapted to a range of tools or implements. They demonstrate a fast and versatile drive between vine rows, also operating a spraying system with automated end-row switch on/off.
For these field robots, Harxon has high performance survey GNSS antenna HX-CSX633A and ruggedized antenna series. HX-CSX633A supports multiple installations, including screws mount, pole mount and magnetic mount. The ruggedized antenna is designed with special structure, it can withstand high shock and vibration.
For Autonomous Tractors
Nowadays, autonomous high-precision agricultural application has become an irresistible trend. Many field operations such as sowing, tilling, planting, cultivating, weeding and harvesting have widely adopted auto-steering system, and smart antenna has been the crucial part of the system.
Harxon TS112 is a field-ready, multi-frequency GNSS smart antenna providing the latest technology including access to multiple GNSS signals and increased performance in variable terrain. It guarantees superior pass-to-pass accuracy down to 20 centimeters for where relative positioning is critical. Also, it is able to provide smoother steering and straighter rows by reducing positioning jumps that may occur during RTK signal outages or when smart antenna changes positioning modes. Its terrain compensation algorithm is capable of correcting deviations caused by vehicle’s roll and pitch while working on uneven groups or slopes.
